Moriah Ranch

Isaiah 44:3-5

3. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. 4. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams. 5. One will say, 'I belong to the LORD'; another will call himself by the name of Jacob; still another will write on his hand, 'The LORD's,'... Closing Quote

About us:

Moriah Ranch is a beautiful working cattle ranch, located in the Ozark Mountain foothills near Poplar Bluff, Missouri. In the fall of 2009 the ranch owners, Jerry and Sandra Murphy felt the call of God to host a prayer gathering at the ranch in the summer of 2010. Wow! What a wonderful time we had, we build roads, put in a bridge, a low water crossing on Indian Creek, cleared out brush, trees and rocks to prepare campsites. We announced the call for participation and they came, they stayed and they prayed! People came from 38 states and 6 different countries. What an amazing time we had during the time they were on the ranch.

We are currently in full progress preparing the land for the next phase of what we believe the Holy Spirit wants to happen. We believe the Lord will continue to call believers to Moriah Ranch to cry out for our nation. Just as John the Baptist was “a voice in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord” we will be a voice crying out to the Lord for our nation. We must repent of our sins, the sins of our fathers, and ask god to heal our land. 2 chronicles 4:14 states, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and seek my face and turn form their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”

Here is a snapshot of upcoming Ranch events.

Rosh Hashanah! “Feast of Trumpets.” Thursday September 29th 2011 Sundown.

Thursday evening September 29th at sundown we are having celebration activities open to the public here on Moriah Ranch. Although the planned activities begin at sundown the gate is open and everyone is welcome to arrive anytime Thursday afternoon. We will be having fun, food, fellowship around an open fire along with a hayride on the ranch.

Feast of Yom Kippur “Day of Atonement” Friday October 7th 2011 Sundown.

Friday evening October 7th at sundown we will gather at the ranch to begin a 24 hour fast and to pray and give thanks to our Lord and Savior. As Christians this is a time to celebrate Jesus' sacrifice allowing us to personally go before God. We will ask God to open the windows of heaven over your life, your family, your finances, and your future. This would be a good time to prepare an offering for your house of worship to be dedicated in gratefulness. Everyone is welcome to arrive anytime after 3:00pm and the prayer and dedication will begin at sundown at the “tin palace” located on the ranch.

Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) Feast of Ingathering/Feast of Nations

Beginning Wednesday October 12th thru October 19th we will gather both at the ranch and at appointed times at our conference center located at 727 Ridge Ave in Poplar Bluff to worship and celebrate the Second Coming and millennial reign of Jesus on earth. This will be a time of recalling the forty years of wandering in the wilderness, living in tents, and worshiping in a portable tabernacle. Temporary booths are constructed to remind Israel of the wilderness wandering.
